Most of this information comes directly from you. We may also receive business contact details from your employer or colleagues, from public sources such as Companies House and company websites, and from professional networks such as LinkedIn.
3. Information we handle on behalf of clients
When we deliver services, we may have access to personal information held in a client's systems. If your question is about information held by one of our clients, please contact that organisation first.

5. Cookies and third-party content
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other sites.
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. To deliver them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and basic browser details. Google's use of that information is described in its own privacy policy.
If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
6. Who we share information with
We share personal information only where needed, with:
- service providers that host our website, email, documents and accounting records, who act on our instructions;
- delivery partners and subcontractors working with us on a client engagement, under confidentiality and data protection terms;
- professional advisers such as accountants, insurers and lawyers;
- regulators, tax authorities, courts or law enforcement where the law requires it;
- a buyer or successor if our business, or part of it, is sold or reorganised.
7. Transfers outside the UK
We are based in the United Kingdom. Some of our service providers store or access information in other countries. Where personal information leaves the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations for the destination country, or on approved safeguards such as the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for details of the safeguards used.
8. How long we keep information
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 12 months after our last contact.
- Client engagement, contract and financial records: six years after the end of the engagement or the relevant financial year, to meet legal, tax and insurance requirements.
- Business contacts we keep in touch with: until you ask us to stop, or the contact has been inactive for three years.
- Website server logs: for the period set by our hosting provider, normally no more than 12 months.
After these periods we delete the information or anonymise it.
9. How we protect information
We use access controls, multi-factor authentication, encryption in transit and at rest where available, and reputable business-grade providers. We limit access to people who need it. No system is completely secure, so if we become aware of a breach that is likely to put you at risk, we will tell you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.
10. Your rights

- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information in certain circumstances;
- ask us to restrict how we use it in certain circumstances;
- object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests, and object at any time to direct marketing;
- ask for information you gave us to be transferred to you or another organisation, where this applies;
- withdraw consent where we rely on it.
To use any of these rights, email hello@londonitpartners.co.uk. We do not charge a fee in normal circumstances and we will reply within one month. We may need to confirm your identity first.
